Michelle Christmann

Education Manager

Michelle has a contagious passion for education and co-operatives, which she brings to her role as Education Manager with the OCA.

Michelle’s previous role was with Gay Lea Foods Co-operative, where she had a strong focus on education and worked closely with the Co-operative Young Leaders program. 

Michelle was first introduced to the co-operative business model over ten years ago while working for a credit union in eastern Ontario, where she eventually took on the role of Community Relations Officer.

After being introduced to the All 4 Each program, Michelle has become a champion of co-operative education, introducing the co-operative business model to over a thousand students throughout Ontario, working with secondary school teachers to open student run co-operatives and organizing and facilitating numerous co-operative and community outreach events.

Michelle was a recipient of the Ontario Co-operative Association’s Co-operative Spirit Award in 2017.
