Co-operatives in an Age of Uncertainty

On March 11, 2020, Co-operatives and Mutuals Canada (CMC) released the results of their study entitled "The Co-operative Difference: Democracy in the Age of Uncertainty." On this date, the Honourable Senator Lucie Moncion and CMC hosted a co-operative networking breakfast to officially launch the public opinion research document. The research was conducted for CMC by David Coletto, CEO of Abacus Data, and included 5,000 Canadian adults in an effort to explore public attitudes about the economic system, broader public concerns, and what role co-operatives can play in alleviating those concerns. The survey also sought to profile co-operative members in Canada.

Help Spread the Word!

The CMC has invited co-operators from across Canada to help spread the word that co-operatives and mutuals are more relevant than ever
