2019 Programming



The 35th annual Directors' Forum "Good Governance: The Future of Ontario's Credit Unions" conference will take place October 3 to 5, 2019 at the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale.

This lovely venue located at 6750 Mississauga Road has a resort-like feel and is located approximately 15km from Pearson International Airport (it costs about $50 to take a taxi from the airport). There are plenty of restaurants in close proximity to the hotel for our delegates to enjoy!

The decision to change venues for 2019 was due in large part to the feedback we have received over the past couple of years from our delegates. The most recent evaluations confirmed that many felt it was time for a change of venue and scenery. Moving the conference out of the downtown Toronto core also means that we are able to keep the registration fees at a more accessible rate for Ontario Board Directors. 


Thursday, October 3:

  • Registration opens at 3pm
  • Welcome Cocktail Reception from 5 - 7pm 

Friday, October 4:

  • Breakfast from 7 - 8am
  • Annual General Meeting from 8 - 9am
  • Plenary sessions with breaks at 9 and 10:40am
  • Lunch from 12 - 1pm  
  • Plenary sessions with breaks at 2:30 and 4:15pm
  • Breakout sessions from 4:30 - 6pm

Saturday, October 5:

  • Breakfast from 7 - 8am
  • Plenary session (CUDA 1/2 credit) from 8am - 12pm with breaks at 9:30 and 10:45am
  • Final remarks at 12pm
