The Ontario Co-operative Association (On Co-op) pledges to enrich your board, staff and co-operative or stakeholder business through education, programs, resources and networks. On Co-op supports the emerging, existing and expanding co-operatives in our membership directly and through partnership arrangements.

On Co-op is a trade association and capacity-building organization that develops, engages and advocates for Ontario’s 1,300 co-operative businesses. From the strong foundation provided by our membership, On Co-op further builds co-op awareness and vitality, and unites the co-operative movement in Ontario.

The Ontario Co-operative Association provides its member-owners with programs, resources and networks that support their organizations and facilitate growth and opportunity. As one of Canada's provincial co-operative associations, and a member of  Co-operatives and Mutuals Canada (formerly the Canadian Co-operative Association), On Co-op helps power the Ontario co-op sector—primarily through training, education, youth programs, government relations and regulation, research and analysis, and communication and networking. We are a key resource in the development and enhancement of all co‑ops and credit  unions in Ontario.

On Co-op Voting Members++,  and Associate Members have special access to resources on co-op development and funding, training and education, and government relations.  The membership also benefits from discounted business services and partnerships.

Using the Member Resources links in the "In This Section" area at the top right of this page, you can learn more about the benefits of On Co-op membership, download application forms, and gain access to the member-only pages, documents and resources.

++ MEMBER OF MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS.  If a federation or an association joins On Co-op, the member organizations of that federation/association are considered member-of-member-organizations (MOMOs) if they are co-operatives. MOMOs are entitled to the discounted "MOMO rate" for On Co-op programs and activities, which may be less than the Member rate. See the Membership List page for more information.
