2019 Programming



The Executive is pleased to announce that the 35th annual Directors' Forum conference will take place on October 3, 4 and 5, 2019 at the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale. This lovely venue with a resort-like feel is located approximately 15km from Pearson International Airport, at 6750 Mississauga Road. It costs about $50 to take a taxi from the airport. There are plenty of restaurants in close proximity to the hotel for our delegates to enjoy!

The decision to change venues for 2019 was due in large part to the feedback we have received over the past couple of years from our delegates. The most recent evaluations confirmed that many felt it was time for a change of venue and scenery. Moving the conference out of the downtown Toronto core, also means that we are able to keep the registration fees at a more accessible rate for Ontario board directors. 

The theme of this year's conference will focus on the concept of "good governance" and look at practical ways to instill these practices into your organization.
